This week Room 9 have been learning about Volume.
The learning intention was to work out the volume of each pile of cubes - including cubes we cannot see.
We worked collaboratively in pairs and used unifix cubes to build each shape.
Most of us found the task challenging, requiring a lot of thinking and concentration.
At the end we built some other shapes with different volumes.Aren't we CREATIVE?
We also looked at different sized containers and filling the containers up with beads to find out which would hold the most or the least.
Miss Chen was most impressed with the way we worked as a team, assisting one another and making sure everyone had a turn.
What an exciting and enjoyable week of learning about VOLUME!
